Ranger guided late afternoon hikes and bicycle tours are being offered daily from June 28 - August 1st. Each evening in July at the Amphitheatre, park rangers will teach audiences about plants, animals, stories, and legends. A 7 day vehicle pass is only $10 and will let you take advantage of the lakeshore, the scenic drive, the dune climb and all of the free guided programs offered by the SBD National Park. Since we are talking about a cheap vacation, while you are visiting the dunes, take advantage of the Benzie County Passport to Fun promotion for even more savings.
At the Motel
We were booked solid last weekend and many of our guests were hiking the dunes or canoeing the Platte River. We always recommend the Cherry Bowl Drive In to folks and a few of our guests went and loved it. They also enjoyed the little Flea Market and the Lions Chicken Dinner at Maley Park. It was busy weekend here in the tiny village of Honor.
The Lady Baseball Team
These Ladies stayed with us last year during the tournament and we loved having them here with us again this year. They play hard all day and come in late and tired. This time the ladies discovered the fire pit around back. Let me tell you, they know how to have a good time even when they don't win.
