This WWII Vet has found his lost love after 66 years. Sweet memories of Benzie County has brought them back to this area. Their first vacation together was spent at this Motel exactly 50 years ago. Walt was once a Grand Traverse lighthouse keeper.
He almost thought he lost her. Thank God she recovered, he never wants to be scared like that again. Doug and Virginia have been coming here annually for 35 years.
Like clock work, for nine years Patricia has called to make her reservations. We look forward to their tenth wedding anniversary next year.
Finally retired after 40 years in the furniture business. This road trip and the Harley are well deserved.
